Riz Moritz is a British-Indian, working-class Screenwriter, Director and Actor represented by Curtis Brown.

She wrote episode 11504 for ITV’s Coronation Street which aired in Februrary 2025, and featured on that week’s iconic Gogglebox on Channel 4.

Riz’s first short film, A Loud Piece of Armour, attracted a hugely impressive team to bring it to life, including award-winning director Molly Burdett, Oscar-nominated DOP Robbie Ryan and BIFA-nominated actress Jo Hartley. The film heads to Palm Springs Shortfest for its World Premiere in June 2025.

She is in pre-production for her directorial debut, Buff Baby, a short film set entirely in a London nail salon.

Riz also has a number of TV pilots and features in development, all rooted in her usual tone of dark comedy-drama.
